For more than 10 years, Rafael Murillo, DJ Producer, is evolving behind the turntables that he discovered at the age of 14. From an artist family, this parisian quickly becomes a musician learning the steel drum, and shape his tastes by listening the Malian artist Toumani Diabate as well as Erik Satie, Telepopmusik or Radiohead. He discovers the house music with the Sublimal and Strictly Rythm labels, and confirms his interest for techno and minimal music. He starts in free parties where he plays live before starting to showcase in bars where he has today few residencies. Graduated from a sound engineering school, he also composed some original music for documentaries, showing his capacity to work on various projects.

His first E.P. is released in 2009 on the german label HUSH GERMANY, under the name Playrec, the pair that he forms with Vincent Vidal. He also leads the parisian collective Sweet Art Family. On a stage performing a 3 hours DJ set, or in his studio producing his own music, he constantly looks for new sounds to improve his work. Influenced by artists like Stimming, Boris Brejcha or Maetrik, he is growing fast on the french electronic scene.
