Lou?s solo work is more organic and rooted in folk music than her work with her band LAMB. In addition to writing and recording 5 LAMB albums she has released three critically acclaimed solo albums, receiving a Mercury Music Prize nomination for her debut ?Beloved One?.

She is currently recording her fourth album.

Lou is also author of The Phlunk and The Phlunk?s Worldwide Symphony ? beautiful children?s picture books.
